From a recent article in the WSJ regarding different States effectiveness in getting people vaccinated:
This criticism is also wrong because the biggest state mistakes so far have been adhering too much to the federal government’s initial guidance to limit the first batches to health-care workers and long-term care residents, followed by front-line employees and those over age 75. States couldn’t find enough takers, and precious doses ended up in the trash.
Sooooo, where are all the articles and news stories on the number of vaccine doses that have been wasted by each state? That would be very interesting reading.
Considering the economic calamity and the year long hardship the country has been through, how can any doses be wasted?
Wouldn’t it be far better to make sure that every dose was used – regardless of age or occupation?
Only a politician and government bureaucracy could in any way justify wasting doses. It’s borderline criminal.
