Dems/libs/progressives have been pushing defund the police ever since the killing of George Floyd.
Interestingly, come to find out the Democrat party national convention in Milwaukee, WI had arranged for additional police protection from various police departments from around the country. 2setsofrules found this out by reading how over 100 police agencies are pulling out of an agreement to send personnel to the convention next month.
Now if the dems/libs/progressives really believed in defunding the police, shouldn’t they forgo police protection all together at their convention? Surely they would want to live by the same set-of-rules they are promoting for the rest of country. What an opportunity to lead by example.
But no, once again, political hypocrisy is on full display. There’s one set-of-rules for the political class, and another for the poor citizens left to deal with the lawlessness and rioting by the anitifa and BLM groups across the country.
