Here is an article at city-journal.org talking about the left playing the race card against Larry Elder -who happens to be black for those who don’t know.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
What the left can’t tolerate is an African-American being conservative. What they are afraid of is a conservative winning the recall election in CA.
What they really don’t want to talk about are the facts the article brings up. The CDC certainly won’t want to talk about them as they spend $10 million researching gun violence.

The media have focused particularly on Elder’s views about crime and policing. The self-described “Sage from South-Central” maintains that criminals, not the police, are the biggest threat in the black community.
And there you go. Any pol that dares challenge the current position that the police are the root cause of all problems has to go. Heaven forbid if people were actually responsible for their own behavior.
